Given the increasing enthusiasm and number of queries from community regarding development progress, I’d like to let you know that I’ve started working on the Reddtipbot for Twitter. It’ll be a fork from altcointip repository which is what our current reddit tipbot is based on.

I’m making major changes to altcointip including removing hardcoding reddit as the only supported social network. After refactoring I expect to deliver a tipbot that’s generic enough to support multiple social networks in one centralised database, which should be easily integrated with Reddcoin’s central website hub in 3-6 months time.

I plan to have an very early prototype by end of Sunday and publish the code in a public github repository. Then I’ll be open for pull requests and bug fixes. Limited testing on Twitter will follow.

I can only work on the project in my spare time so please be patient 🙂
